ORGANIZED RELIGIOUS EDUCATION AND ITS ROLE IN ELIMINATING EXTREMISM

Teaching has an effective role in leading people into a good and high morality; and a good behaving with people in general, that’s why we see that all the religious divines and common rules by people (constitutions) focus on teaching and studying to teach the new generation to be educated and could live together happily and peacefully.

 

Islam, which is a universal religion and it is the last one, has paid more attention than other religions for studying to purify our inner from devil and bad behaviours and prettify it with a good morality and behaving in order to be a person just like a servant for the society. That’s why we see that our prophet Muhammad peace be upon him emphasises on a good morality and behaving in the most of his sayings and speeches. Even the wholly Quran tells believers and unbelievers to do the same because our prophet has been sent from the God to the whole people of the world so what is said about Islam or what is done in the name Islam to call bad its name is not true for example terrorism and brutal actions is something out of the circle of Islam and the full forgiveness advices of Islam.

The importance of religious studies and teaching appears when we see that there are too many falsification about Islam such as terror, killing, brutal actions….etc because of someone goes out from the circle of Islam, of course he or she falsifies bad things.

That’s why we have to take care religious studies more than other studies because it makes troublesome if it isn’t approved well and scientifically. Only a good scientist or someone who studied religious studies or graduated in the religious scientific colleges, understand the real Islam not only those who study some papers or a leaflet without a proved resource.

Hereafter all the Islamic countries should understand the importance of religious studies, education and media. They should also understand religious benefits and its positive affections for a stable security and at the same time take it care more academically. And we have to respect it and not allow anyone to disrespect religion at all. Those who concern should know the importance of religious studies and they must know its dangerous of it if they neglect it and disrespect it or stand against it in the name of facing terrorism because most of the brutal actions that are done under the name of Islam in the Islamic world come from its neglecting and standing against it.

Finally, I ask those who concern about this subject to improve and activate religious studies within mosques, universities, colleges, institutes for Islamic studies and by holding workshops, conferences and meetings with pre-programmed to point the diseases and find the solutions so that Islam could reach the real point and turns back as it is in order peace comes to us and our society.
