THE UNIFICATION OF THE NODAL ASSETS AND ITS ROLE IN ACHIEVING UNITY OF THE NATION

The issue of the unity of the Ummah is one of the most important of the Islamic thought, the current situation of the Muslims in being disunited by having different schools and belonging to different denominations; is working to hold that hope from becoming true. Though Muslims have one text and one Sunnah, there exist multiple interpretations and methods in dealing with revelation.
This situation forces a question to be asked: given that there is only one source, how can Muslims become united without one group trying to ignore others or claiming that it has the ultimate truth in the understanding of Quran and Sunnah? And to what extent Muslims are able to become closer without denying one another and without being distanced by the source or overlooking it?
The paper we are trying to submit is trying to answer and approach this topic through the following question: is it possible that the fundamentals of religion become unified among Muslims.
This paper hypothesizes that: it’s possible to arrive at a middle platform among the different denomination based principles in order to achieve a conception of a unity over the different fundamentals of creed, which works to contribute to the upgrade of the reality of Ummah, and serve the humanity through Islam that unifies efforts and enlightens the ways in order to achieve the two happinesses.
