ABSTRACT
According to Islam, the whole human society is based on the family; the firm foundation representing its first unit and characterized by such variety of which the community is composed. The family;the basic cell of society, is composed of individuals who are related together by ties of kinship, and it contributes to all aspects of social activity; physical, spiritual, ideological as well as economic. The family has its own rights such as health, education, and safe housing rights and it also has duties such as the transfer of heritage and language from one generation to another. On the other hand, Islam looks at the family as being such great and noble origin from which all virtues, including affection, mercy, honesty, chastity, loyalty, positiveness, cooperation, supportand solidarity emanate. Therefore, if we can establish a righteous family that is supported by values, principles and fair laws which are capable of bringing benefits and warding off evil, the whole society will be a righteous one. |
