SUGGESTED COURSES FOR THE SHARI'AH POLICY DEPARTMENT FROM THE POINT OF VIEW OF FACULTY MEMBERS


The aim of this study is to identify the suggested courses of study for the Department of Islamic politics from the point of view of faculty staffs, to achieve the objectives of the study the researcher interviewed (10) with faculty staffs in the faculty of Islamic and law at the University of Tripoli so as to identify the most prominent contemporary issues which should contain on courses of study for the Department of Islamic politics, based on the results of the interview, the researcher developed a list that contains a set of suggested courses of major of Islamic politics, then distributed to a sample of (22) faculty staffs in faculty of Islamic Law at the University of Tripoli, the results showed that (atonement and hyperbole, contemporary Islamic banking transactions, provisions, the sale of bonds and instruments, shooting at wedding events, prevalence of the phenomenon of violence and extremism, electronic commercial contracts, provisions of beauty, participation the Christians of the social rituals, medical examination before marriage), based on that study suggested the following courses: international terrorism and religious extremism, contemporary Transactions in Islamic banks and provisions, provisions of electronic contracts (commercial and social), contemporary marriage provisions, Muslims relation with other, suspicions about Islam, detection and response methods, contemporary Islamic thought.
