NAZRAT ALMADRASAT ALHADATHIAT LILNAS ALQURANII

First: Definition of the research:

A group of modernist writers who are not specialzed in the Islamic Studies and did not get to know their approaches started writing about the Holy Qur’an and its sciences. For the purpose of achieving its project of modernist criticism which is based on the critical, not doctrinal, reading the Qur’anic text, the modernist school followed a group of strategies aiming at removing the holiness of the Qur’anic text by citing the Qur’anic verses as human but not divine. Therefore, they committed major diviations. It is necessary to encounter this strong stream and protect Islam against these currents and their confusions. This research aims to disclose and refute these strategies with evidence and proofs.  

Second, Research Aims:

1. Stressing that Holy Qur’an is a sanctified text whom the human philosophical theories cannot dominate because it is the source of knowledge, Allah says: “We have not neglected in the Register a thing.”
2. Academic refutation agaist the suspicions about authenticity and collection of the Qur’anic texts lest they affect the current and future generations’ mindsets in reading the Qur’anic text, and not allowing the new modernists and their like to deal with it like any manmade statement
3. Ensuring that no one can wrote about the Holy Qur’an unless he studied the Islamic approaches and possess its tools, texts, knows what the surmount Muslim scholars wrote in Tafsir, Hadith, and Fiqh and doctrinal rulings. Otherwise, let him be immersed in the occidental studies but not allowed to speak about our Lord’s Book with no valid knowledge.

 

 

 

 

 

Third, Importance of the Research (Its Rationale):

1. Protecting the Holy Qur’an from the modernist philosophical orientalist attempts to criticize it or violate its sanctity or permitting the theories and interpretations to deviate from its purpose which Allah Almighty wanted. 
2. My strong jealousy agaist those who speak 0on the nation’s Book and Constitution without knowledge.
3. Because these types of writing are considered to be potential harm against the nation because it contributed in dividing the agreement, dispersing efforts and confusing people’s religion.
4. The multi-facial attack on the Holy Qur’an from its oponents, and the distortions and deviation in interpreting it not only from the orientalists but also from its followers.
5. Allah Almighty commanded people of knowledge to clarify the truth to people, particulary that is related to Allah’s Book and the nation’s constitution. It is impossible for the honest seekers of knowledge to remain silent or neutral agaist the attack on religion, values and doctrine. Refuting those misconseptions and writings which are being promoted on TV channels and weaken the nation is obligatory upon us.   

Fourth, Research Plan:

Research plan is composed of three sections, a conclusion and an index.

The sections are as follows:

Issue 1: Meaning of Text linguistically and Meaning of Qur’an linguistically

Issue 2: Meaning of Text in Terminology and Meaning of Qur’an in Terminology

Second Section: The Modernist School’s Attitude on the Qur’anic Text’s Originality

Issue 1: Modernists’ methodology in dealing with the Qur’anic Text

Issue 2: Their Purpose in dealing with the Qur’anic Text with that methodology

Second Section: The Modernist School’s Attitude on the Qur’anic Text’s Way of Collection

Issue 1: The Modernist School’s Attitude on recording the Qur’anic Text

Issue 2: The Modernist School’s Attitude on arranging the Qur’anic Text

Issue 3: The Modernist School’s Attitude on collecting the Qur’anic Text

In the Conclusion, I mentioned the most significant findings in this research.
