ISLAMIC VALUES AND THEIR ROLE IN PROMOTING HUMAN VALUES TO DEVELOP SOCIETY WITH A MODEL OF THE ROLE OF KING ABDULAZIZ UNIVERSITY IN PROMOTING MORAL VALUES

Values of all kinds have great importance in human civilization. They are connected to the willingness and they aim to change and correct behavior. Values are considered as a way to advance a society. Islam is a complete set of civilizational values that improve society and to develop its members. The aim of Islamic values is to form a civilized society, whose members are connected to the values and principles of Islam and make it the center of their lives. This is to live happily and peacefully and to seek the satisfaction of Allah Almighty and His grace in the Hereafter to enter Paradise to his faithful servants that He promised. This research aims to define the meaning of values, their divisions, and implications in the Holy Quran and the statement of Islamic civilizational values and their advantages that include all aspects of life. The methodology of this research is inductive and deductive. The results of this research show that Islamic values are an integrated system that consists of spiritual, practical and civilized. Values. It is also based on the principle of moderation, respect the human mind, meet the human basic needs and achieve jurisprudence of reality. It accepts adaptations based on time and location. It ensures all individual, community and human rights, according to its characteristics. One of the recommendations is to renew the jurisprudence of reality in order to keep pace with the developments and to strengthen the principle of balance and moderation to repel the phobia of Islam. It is also the responsibility of universities and schools to enhance the confidence of the Islamic values through modern technology and social media. There is also a need to communicate with Western civilizations to find similarities between Islam and the West in values through a well-established method.
