THE RELIGIOUS EXTREMISM IN HUMAN THOUGHT A SYSTEMATIC APPROACH IN CONCEPTS AND CAUSES

Abstract

Human thought is a voluntary process. Hence, if a person wants to reach results with his thinking then the results might be in line with religious patterns of thought, mainstream society or contrary to it. That is why, describing a thought or a person as an extremist is never unconditioned or independent of time and place. What is contrary to traditional religion or society today in a country might not be contrary tomorrow or in a different country. This foundational approach helps us immensely to understand the source of extremists thought, whether from an ideological or psychological perspective. The present paper will address the linguistic and philosophical meaning of extremist thought and the most important  reasons contributing to establishing extremist thought.
