THE RELIGIOUS IDEA AND ITS ROLE IN CULTURAL STABILITY
Abstract
This research presents examples of thinkers who have written about the importance of the religious idea in civilizational stability, trying to elucidate the views of some thinkers who have written about the importance of religious motivation in civilizational construction, inspired by Islamic and Western philosophies. It is the religious factor that earns Nations and civilizations continuity, stability and safety from falling. More than that the human need for religion is not a secondary need that can be dispensed with, but it is an inherent basic need. Religion is the primary engine of man, because the mind must not be separated from the cultural and faith atmosphere in which it grew up. And if that happens, this mind becomes without identity, because it has lost its ideological and faith roots.
