THE STATUS OF CHARITABLE IN ISLAMIC LEGISLATION

Abstract:
This scientific paper aims at addressing the problem of the status of charitablework in Islamic legislation among the rest of other legislations. And what is meant here by Islamic legislation is the Holy Quran and the Sunnah of the prophet Muhammad may peace and blessings be up in him. And this research relied mainly on the inductive approach as I tried to extrapolate the text of a relation serving as a base to legislate charity work in all its ways and forms; I have concluded that goodness is a holistic term that refers to any material or moral benefits as well as to efforts a person does to convey goodness on others. Infact, sharia stresses the value of charity work in Islamic legislation and linked it to the pillars of Islam namely to faith prayer and fasting. And it is one of the most important pillars to success that can't be achieved unless the goodness is highlighted in the human. Eventually charity work in Islamic legislation has a broad and overall meaning that includes all types and forms of goodness.
