SYMBOLISM IN THE HOLY QUR’AN : AN INTERPRETIVE READING OF THE SYMBOLS OF THE SERPENT , CROW , RAM AND COW

Abstract : It seems that the imagination is the destiny of man from which he can not escape.Therefore , he considers that the entire world is symbolic and that the creatures, plants, and animals it contains are all texts that can be read. Its hidden and deep meanings are only revealed through interpretation. This study seeks to look at one of the faces of this imagination and one of its forms that is embodied by animals. This being , upon which man placed his speculations, until it became as symbol of deception, and the divine miracle, as shown by the serpent, as symbol of wisdom, as shown by the crow, as symbol of redemption, as shown by the ram, and a symbol of divine miracle growth , and fertility , as shown by the cow.
